Memory is a unique human ability closely connected with time. For instance, looking at exhibits of a particular period people relive old memories. The Great Patriotic War is considered the most significant time period of the 20th century. The youngest WWII veterans who earned the victory are about 90 years old now. Millions of young people were mown down by the war. That’s why exhibits displayed in military history museums are of great importance as they represent culture-specific material elements, or realia of the war. 
 

-A professional guide  is at your service;
-Entrance tickets to the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War;
-Guided tour of the museum;
The program comprises:seeing six dioramas dedicated to the most significant battles of WWII (from the battle of Moscow to the capture of Berlin);
-admission to the Hall of Commanders, the Hall of Glory featuring names of the prominent commanders and heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the Hall of Remembrance and Sorrow decorated with glass symbolizing “tears” shed for the dead in the war;
-Photography and video recording;
-Guide’s advice and recommendations. The guide is to answer additional questions and fulfill requests you may have during the excursion.
 

Documents to take along: passport (ID) or copy. Other recommended items: a camera, suitable clothing and shoes  for the weather.

Thursday- Friday 10:00 AM -8:30 PM (ticket counters and admission til 8 PM) 
Open air areas and exhibition "Engines of war" 
Tuesday-Sunday 11:00 AM - 6:30 PM  (ticket counters and admission till  6 PM) 
Closed  on Mondays

Tourists’ safety provision follows the requirements of All-Union State Standard (GOST Р 5064494).

Tour Confirmation Within 24 Hours.

No cancellation fees more than 72 hours in advance

 Reservation changes can be processed up to 3 days (72 hours) prior to the start of a tour. In case cancellations are carried out more than 72 hours in advance, 100 % of the total cost of a tour is refunded. If reservation is cancelled within 24-72 hours prior to the start of a tour, 50 % of its total cost is refunded. If reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, no refund is granted.

Other terms:

Payment for a child under 18 is equal to that of an adult.
