Moscow is a city of great cultural and historic importance. Annually thousands of tourists come there to see the most remarkable sights of the capital. Our travel agency does its best to help tourists get as much vivid impressions as possible. The tour is dedicated to history of Russian orthodox traditions. The walking route starts at The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour – one of the most popular places of pilgrimage with the faithful from all over Russia. Even the nonreligious are deeply impressed by its grand exterior and interior. The Cathedral greets Great Stone Bridge / Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge. Built in the 17th century, it’s considered one of the oldest bridges in Moscow. Numerous repairs and reconstructions changed its original appearance, but its name remained the same. The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is linked with one more place of interest – Patriarch Bridge constructed in the 21th century. Due to unique architectural technology, its design differs markedly from other bridges across the Moskva River.
After the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour the walking route follows The Moscow State Variety Theatre. It is situated in the famous House on the Embankment / Naberezhnaya now listed as a place of Russian cultural heritage. The next point of the tour is represented by the Pashkov House – a beautiful mansion of the 19th century. It has preserved its original appearance characterized by a classical architectural style in a strict sense.
One can not imagine Moscow without its scenic embankments and parks. Yakimanskaya Embankment on the right bank of Vodootvodny Canal dates back to the 15th century. Many buildings of cultural and historic importance are located there. When strolling along Yakimanskaya Embankment one can’t miss a pedestrian area famous for its picturesque landscapes. It’s Krymskaya Embankment  – a rare place for Moscow residents to hide from the hustle and bustle of the capital and enjoy its amazing view. Nearby there is Muzeon - a big open air museum of sculpture with more than 700 exhibits.
The most popular recreation area with Moscow residents and guests is definitely Gorky Park which occupies a vast territory in downtown Moscow. After the tour one can stay at the park for further spare time alone.
